Voice: Chapter 5Omina was home, out on open water, SanMer far behind her, at least a full day, even with the good winds, to the next port. Though, once she got there, she would have to be quick. While it wouldnt be the most guarded city, it was still a controlled section of the Holy Empire, and sailing in with a heavily-armed and unmanned warship would attract some attention. Nevertheless, she needed supplies, and there would be more foods available for trade in the next port. There she could get enough for the next leg of her journey and she had already come up with the beginnings of a plan to get in without too many questions. Of course,Voice: Chapter 5

Voice: Chapter 4When she arrived at the market, it was already late enough in the morning that the local wives were already out finding the days meals. Travelers wouldnt be awake yet, those that were going to wake up. To a degree, Omina was relieved, but she knew there was no reason to relax her guard. Wives may have more immediate concerns than the trading of unfamiliar transients, but that doesnt mean they werent aware of it, and a wife as easily as a husband could have her information bought. Then, of course, there was the dark figure keeping himself at a slight distance behind her. Omina had caught a reflection of him with a pockeVoice: Chapter 4

Voice: Chapter 3SanMer was a much smaller, though considerably busier city. It was one of the few desert cities that could be considered publicly known, and the built up defenses spoke well to that point. The fortunate point was that even with intimate knowledge of SanMer, few could make it an entrance to the desert or to other desert cities. Most made use of it as an exit. Omina walked into the walls of the city long after sun had set behind the sea of dunes. It was late, and she was tired. Two basic rules of life:
1.) Never trust anyone who says, "I know what's best for you."
2.) Never become the kind of person who tells others, "I know what's best for you."

Also, I wanted to apologize for not commenting on more of your works. You're a very skilled writer and have come up with some intriguting stores. But I'm not much of a romantic fiction fan. That's why I have tended to comment more on the comedy and supernatural works. I hope that's okay.
